Right Age

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child be evaluated for orthodontic treatment as early as age 7, and even earlier if the parent or family dentist discovers a problem. Drs. Jaeger and Dr. Curtis believe that it is important to see children as the permanent teeth are erupting to monitor growth and development. This is helpful to intercept any problems and to begin treatment at the right age while the child is still growing. One of our goals is to time treatment so that the treatment can be acomplished in a single phase. This helps to keep treatment as efficient as possible, thus reducing the overall costs to the patient as well as total time in treatment.

Orthodontics is not just for children. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, and it is never too late to improve your smile. We offer many innovative options in braces for children, adolescents and adults, including Invisalign.
